We have been finding homes in rural Andalucia for the discerning people who share our enthusiasm for the regions beautiful, historic, towns and villages, stunning scenery and relaxed way of life for nearly nine years now. However as the region has become better known, and dare I say it, more fashionable it has become increasingly difficult to find good value property in unspoilt locations. As a result the area of Andalucia we cover has grown ever larger as we constantly search for something new and different. Consequently we now offer properties in the provinces of Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, Jaen, Cadiz, Huelva and of course Malaga.
Whilst it is easy to be carried away by the romance of isolated hill top locations and so on we never forget that our clients are 21st Century people who might want the good life but do not want to be cut of entirely from civilization! Good restaurants, good services (especially health care and education), shops with a wide range of goods and easy access might not be in the forefront of your mind when you take in a stunning view or listen to the silence around you new finca but believe me, when the novelty of your new home wears of and the reality of a 30 minute journey for a pint of milk sets in, these things matter!
So our objective is to find areas of Andalucia that are not already over run by the Brits, where prices are still reasonable and where the access and services mean you do not have to live in the last century. No death defying drops, interminable twisting tracks or locations where you need a 4x4 (or mule) to get in and out. And in assessing an areas accessibility it is important to keep a very close eye on the rapidly improving local transport infrastructure. The latest news is that more and more of the Cordoba to Antequera motorway is coming into use, the high speed rail link to Madrid is in operation and Ryanair are now flying into Seville and Granada!
